From a ball of clay to cherished vessel- I make small batch, wheel thrown functional pottery and jewelry out of porcelain clay. Practically, pottery is made to eat a meal off of, carry a beverage, serve others, or to accent an outfit. Whether it’s enjoying a quiet morning and coffee in a handmade mug or wearing a pair of clay earrings, the hope of these works is to help people slow down & enjoy life a bit more through each carefully and thoughtfully crafted piece of pottery. I believe that handmade pottery can enable humanity to thrive.
